Options Exploration
When you come in with your partner for a pregnancy test, our medical staff and advocates are prepared to help you process your emotions and explore your options.

Educational Offerings
We offer fatherhood education through our parenting programs including our lessons just for dads. Our education programs enable you to earn points that can be used to acquire much-needed items for your child, such as diapers, wipes, and clothing.

The Fatherhood Program
A Cascade Women's Health fatherhood mentor will equip you through education and support, helping you to become an involved, committed, and responsible father.
As a man, you play a significant role throughout your partner’s pregnancy journey, as well as in the lives and future success of your children.
The Fatherhood Program complements our other education programs and will match you with a one-on-one fatherhood mentor. From the early days of your pregnancy, Cascade Women's Health will offer you resources and support regarding how to be a great father while also learning to support your partner.

Can I walk in or do I need to make an appointment?We highly recommend that you schedule an appointment to make sure that we are available to meet with you in a timely manner. We accept walk-ins too.

How do I know if I am pregnant?The easiest way to determine if you are pregnant is to take a free pregnancy test at our clinic. Just because your period is late doesn’t always mean you are pregnant. Stress, hormonal changes, weight gain or loss are all possible reasons for a change in your menstrual cycle. We recommend you wait until the week after your period should have started. How accurate is the pregnancy test?Our tests are laboratory rated and 99% accurate. Urine-based pregnancy tests detect the hCG hormone in a pregnant woman’s system. Since the production of hCG can vary greatly from woman to woman, sometimes as much as 20 fold, time periods when a “positive” test occurs can also vary. Our pregnancy tests can often detect some women’s hCG level as early as 7 days after conception (21-24 days after the first day of your last period), although some women’s hCG level is not detectable until at least one week after a missed period.

When should I get an ultrasound?An ultrasound is the next step following a positive pregnancy test. It will give you vital information such as how far along you are, if your pregnancy is viable, and if implantation has occurred inside the uterus.

Can I have a retest if my test is negative and my period still doesn’t start?Yes, you may be scheduled for another test. The hCG hormone concentration doubles approximately every 2.2 days during the first 3 months of pregnancy.

If I'm a minor, do my parents need to know about my appointment?No. Pregnancy-related services are considered confidential even for minors (with the exception of abortion because parental consent may be required.) You are protected by HIPAA and other privacy laws. However, we do encourage you to involve your parents if you are pregnant.

What do I need to bring to receive services?A driver’s license or photo identification card is required to receive services.

How much do your services cost?All of our services are provided at no cost to our clients.

Do you provide or refer for abortions? Do I have to make a decision right away?We do not provide or refer for abortion services. We believe women deserve to get information from a place that does not financially benefit from your decision and talk through their options in a pressure-free environment.

Do you provide contraceptives?We believe your doctor is best positioned to talk with you about contraceptive needs. We do not provide contraceptives or contraceptive services.

How are you funded?We are funded by the generous support of individuals, organizations and grants. We receive no state or federal funding.

Can I get birth control or the morning after pill at Cascade Women's Health?We don't provide or refer for contraceptives (birth control) or the morning after pill. If you have questions or concerns regarding these medications, please contact your medical provider.
