Pregnancy Symptoms and Testing

Common early pregnancy symptoms include but are not limited to:
  • Period more than 2 days late

  • Changes in breasts

  • Bothered by smells

  • Exhaustion even with regular sleep

  • Other symptoms in combination: headaches, nausea, food aversions, cravings

Well Woman Exam

A well-woman exam is an annual preventative wellness visit focused on women’s health. This exam includes a physical exam, screenings, and discussions about various aspects of reproductive and overall health.

Our Well Woman Program has been developed to improve women’s long-term health and longevity across the lifespan, while empowering women to be an advocate in their own health. This is a program that fosters a patient - practitioner relationship to help women be their healthiest, happiest selves.

Initial Obstetric Ultrasound

Confirm your pregnancy with an ultrasound.
  • If you receive a positive pregnancy test from Cascade Women’s Health, it's important to get an initial obstetric ultrasound to confirm:

    • Location of pregnancy (within your uterus)

    • Heartbeat

    • How far along you are

  • Ultrasounds can be scheduled once a pregnancy has been confirmed through a urine test taken at Cascade Women’s Health.

STI Symptoms and Testing

STIs (infections transmitted through sexual contact) often have mild or no symptoms.

Undetected and untreated STIs can lead to long-term health conditions. STI testing can identify infections and prevent the spread to others.

You should consider testing if:

  • You are in a new relationship

  • You or your partner has had sex (vaginal, oral, anal) with someone else

  • You or your partners are experiencing STI symptoms
